The Department of Food Engineering and Nutrition Science (FENS), State University of Bangladesh (SUB), successfully organized the orientation program for its 63rd batch of Fall 2026 on 10 October 2026 at Scholars Inn, Shadhinota Tower.

The program was attended by Prof. Dr. Md. Hassan Kawsar, Vice Chancellor (Acting); Dr. Farzana Sultana Bari, Chairman of FENS; Prof. Dr. Muhammad Shafiur Rahman, Professor; Shah Reza M Fahad Hossain, Proctor; and Mr. Md. Asgar Ali, Controller of Examinations (Acting), alongside FENS faculty members.

The event featured welcome addresses, introductory speeches, and valuable discussions on academic expectations, university rules and regulations, disciplinary procedures, examination policies, and student responsibilities. The distinguished guests and faculty members offered guidance on academic integrity, professional ethics, and student conduct. The program also provided an opportunity for newly admitted students to become familiar with the university's academic environment and departmental culture.

The orientation program concluded successfully, welcoming the new students and encouraging them to pursue academic excellence and professional development throughout their journey at SUB.
