SUB Hosts Orientation Program for First Batch of Microbiology Students
A New Journey Begins at SUB!
The Orientation Program for the first batch of BSc in Microbiology (Honours) students at State University of Bangladesh marked the beginning of an exciting journey filled with learning, discovery, and endless possibilities.
The program featured inspiring messages and valuable guidance from distinguished academics and university leaders:
Professor Dr. Mahfuzul Haque, Chairman, Department of Microbiology, welcomed the inaugural batch and encouraged students to develop knowledge, skills, and strong ethical values. Professor Md. Saiful Islam Pathan, Dean, School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, warmly welcomed the new students and wished them a successful and enriching academic journey. Professor Dr. Anisur Rahman, University of Dhaka, inspired students to remain focused on their studies and emphasized the importance of knowledge, research, and continuous learning. Dr. Ahmed Hossain, Registrar, SUB, provided important guidance on the University’s code of conduct, discipline, and institutional rules. Shah Reza M. Fahad Hossain, Proctor, SUB, briefed the students on responsible behaviour, university regulations, discipline, and their responsibilities as members of the university community. Professor Dr. Md. Hassan Kawsar, Acting Vice-Chancellor of SUB and Chief Guest, encouraged students to pursue academic excellence, develop essential skills, and make the most of their university journey. Professor Dr. Md. Abdur Rashid, Emeritus Professor, University of Dhaka, presided over the program and wished the students a bright future, encouraging them to embrace every opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed.
