Dr. Shabbir Ahammed

Dr. Shabbir Ahammed obtained his Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Food and Process Engineering from Hajee Mohammad Danesh Science and Technology University (HSTU), Dinajpur, Bangladesh in 2010. In 2011, Dr. Ahammed received the Italian government scholarship (ADiSU) for Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree. In the following year, he obtained Erasmus exchange scholarship under double degree program. Dr. Ahammed obtained M.Sc. in Food Engineering degree from University of Salerno, Fisciano, Italy and M.Sc. in Food Science and Technology Engineering from Corvinus University of Budapest, Budapest, Hungary in 2014. He served as team leader of Food Quality & Safety and Hygiene in Cofoco Airport Solutions Aps, Copenhagen, Denmark from Sep. 2014 to Feb. 2016. Dr. Ahammed received fellowship from China Scholarship Council (CSE), China for conducting Ph.D. in 2016. He obtained the Ph.D. degree in Food Science & Engineering from Jiangnan University, Wuxi, China in June 2021 and received Postdoctoral fellowship at the same university. He led a research team of Ph.D. and Master students at Jiaxing Institute of Future Food, Jiaxing, China. Till date, he has research publications in different international high impact journals (total impact factor >70) published by Elsevier, MDPI, and University journal in the Netherland, Switzerland, UK, Hungary etc. Dr. Ahammed is a peer reviewer of Food Bioscience published by Elsevier, United Kingdom.
