Farhad Hossain is a dedicated and accomplished academic currently serving as a Lecturer in the Department of Pharmacy at the State University of Bangladesh (SUB). With a rich background in both teaching and research, he previously held the position of Lecturer and Coordinator in the Department of Pharmacy at Atish Dipankar University of Science & Technology (ADUST). During his tenure at ADUST, he not only excelled in his academic roles but also played a significant part in student activities, including cultural events, sports, and seminars, while also serving as an Assistant Proctor.
Farhad holds both M. Pharm. and B. Pharm. degrees from the University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh. His M. Pharm. thesis titled "Isolation of Anticancer Compounds from Leea rubra Blume. & Curcuma ferruginea Roxb. Grown in Bangladesh" earned him the prestigious National Science and Technology (NST) fellowship from the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of Bangladesh. His academic journey has been marked by a strong passion for research, particularly in the fields of phytochemistry, pharmacology, and cancer biology.
In addition to his teaching responsibilities, Farhad is an enthusiastic and dedicated researcher, with publications in peer-reviewed international journals. His research endeavors reflect his commitment to advancing the scientific community's understanding of natural compounds and their potential therapeutic applications. Farhad continues to inspire and mentor his students while contributing to the academic and research excellence at the State University of Bangladesh.
