Md. Ariful islam is a Lecturer in the Department of Pharmacy at State University of Bangladesh (SUB), South Purbachal, Kanchan, Dhaka-1461, Bangladesh where he has been since July, 2024. He worked as a lecturer in the Department of Pharmacy at Khwaja Yunus Ali University (KYAU), Enayetpur, Sirajganj from August, 2022 to June 2024. He served as a guest lecturer in the Department of Pharmacy at the Institute of Health Technology, Rajshahi in 2021 and in the Department of Pharmacy at Shaheed M. Monsur Ali Institute of Health Technology, Sirajganj in 2020. He achieved his Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm) and Master of Pharmacy (M. Pharm) from the Department of Pharmacy, University of Rajshahi in 2018 and 2020 respectively. Moreover, he was a research assistant in the laboratory of pharmaceutics of Department of Pharmacy at University of Rajshahi from 2019 to 2021. He was awarded a research grant from the National Science and Technology (NST) Division, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh to complete his M. Pharm (Thesis). His main research interests include Formulation Development, Controlled Drug Delivery, Nano pharmaceutics, Nanotechnology in Drug Delivery and Targeted Drug Delivery. He has successfully completed a three-month statistical computing certificate course on SPSS, Microsoft Excel, and Research Methodology at the Department of Statistics, University of Rajshahi.
