Mr. Ehasanul Haque has been serving as a Lecturer in the Department of Pharmacy at the State University of Bangladesh since July 15, 2024. He earned his Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm) and Master of Pharmacy (M. Pharm) in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from the University of Dhaka (DU). Prior to his academic appointment, he accumulated nearly three years of professional experience at Eskayef Pharmaceuticals Ltd., where he worked as a Product Executive in the Product Management Department (PMD). He was awarded the prestigious National Science and Technology (NST) Fellowship in 2022 by the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, to support his graduate thesis research. His research interests lie in drug discovery with a particular focus on phytochemistry. He is currently conducting research on traditional medicinal plants native to Bangladesh, aiming to elucidate the pharmacological rationale behind their traditional uses and identify novel bioactive compounds with antimicrobial or other significant pharmacological properties.
