Dr. Farzana Sultana Bari

Ph.D, MS, BSc (Honors) in Nutrition and Food Science from University of Dhaka

Dr. Farzana Sultana Bari is an Associate Professor in the Department of Food Engineering and Nutrition Science at the State University of Bangladesh. She holds a BSc (Honors), MS, and PhD in Nutrition and Food Science from the University of Dhaka. With over 13 years of teaching experience, Dr. Bari specializes in designing and conducting community nutrition studies. Her research interests include evaluating nutrition intervention programs, food security, maternal and child nutrition, nutrition education, urban nutrition, obesity, autism, and mental health. She has expertise in both quantitative and qualitative survey design, program evaluation, and secondary analysis of large survey data. Dr. Bari has an extensive publication record in high-impact, peer-reviewed journals and serves as a reviewer for several scientific journals. Dr. Farzana aims to develop applied research solutions in public health nutrition with a focus on food science and to build an expert team committed to advancing sustainable development in Bangladesh.
