Dr. Sumana Chattopadhyay

Dr. Chattopadhyay is an Associate Professor and Associate Dean for Graduate Studies & Research in the Diederich College of Communication at Marquette University, USA. She brings with her extensive experience in global communication, media effects, and political communication research. Her academic journey began at the University of Calcutta, where she earned her B.Sc. and M.Sc., followed by a Ph.D. in Communication from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Over the years, she has taught courses such as Global Television, International Communication, and Media Management, and her work has been published in several international journals and edited volumes.
