Mohammad Shamim Usman is a Lecturer in the Department of Law at the State University of Bangladesh. He is a dedicated legal academic with strong interests in contemporary legal issues, legal research, and academic writing. He completed his Master of Laws (LL.M) on International Laws from the Department of Law, University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh, following his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from the same institution. Alongside his academic career, he has gained practical legal experience through his internship at the Office of the Attorney General for Bangladesh, where he conducted legal research, assisted senior law officers in drafting legal documents, and observed proceedings at the Supreme Court of Bangladesh. His legal opinions and writings reflect a strong commitment to legal reform, access to justice, and rights-based discourse. In addition, he has completed several professional courses on data protection, information security, and digital risk awareness, complementing his research interests.
