Dr. Md. Imran Nur Manik is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacy at the State University of Bangladesh, where he is actively engaged in teaching and research in pharmaceutical sciences. Prior to joining the State University of Bangladesh, he served as a Lecturer in the Department of Pharmacy at Northern University Bangladesh, Dhaka. Dr. Manik earned his Ph.D. from Shizuoka University, Japan, under the prestigious MEXT Scholarship, where his doctoral research focused on the molecular mechanisms of autophagy. He has completed his Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm) as a thesis student and his Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) from the University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh. His professional background also includes significant industry experience, having served as an In-Process Quality Assurance (IPQA) Officer at the FDA-approved Track-II unit of BEXIMCO Pharmaceuticals Limited, one of the leading pharmaceutical companies in Bangladesh. His academic and research interests include rational drug use, pharmaceutical chemistry, and community health. He has contributed to several research studies focusing on medication use behavior and phytochemical evaluation and has co-authored multiple scholarly articles published in international peer-reviewed journals.
