Marina Akter currently holds the position of Lecturer in the Department of Pharmacy at the State University of Bangladesh. She completed a Bachelor of Pharmacy (Professional) and a Master of Pharmacy in Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacology at Noakhali Science and Technology University (NSTU), securing first position in both programs with a CGPA of 3.90/4.00 and 4.00/4.00, respectively. Holding registration number 21936 with the Pharmacy Council of Bangladesh, she is a certified pharmacist. She conducts research in pharmacogenomics and cancer epidemiology, specifically investigating gene polymorphisms linked to breast and colorectal cancer in the Bangladeshi population. Her academic excellence was recognized through the prestigious National Science and Technology (NST) Fellowship for 2024β2025, awarded by the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of Bangladesh. Marina has developed practical skills through industrial training at ACI PLC, along with three months of comprehensive hospital training. With strong laboratory skills, hands-on experience in molecular and analytical techniques, and a passion for teaching, she is well positioned to contribute meaningfully to pharmaceutical education, clinical research, and healthcare advancement in Bangladesh.
