Md. Zahidul Islam is currently working as the Head (Acting) of the Department of Environmental Science at State University of Bangladesh. He completed his B.Sc. (Hons.) and M.S. from the Department of Environmental Sciences, Jahangirnagar University, Dhaka, Bangladesh. Previously, Mr. Zahidul worked in different environmental sectors including, teaching, research, and NGOs. His primary research focus is Water and wastewater treatment, climate change, and micro-plastic pollution.
