On 26-01-2022, Department of law organized a webinar on “Working together to Prevent Suicide”. The webinar is organized in association with Psycure Organization and Foundation for Law Development (FLAD). The Webinar focused on the mental health of the students, causes and indicator which instigates someone to commit suicide, how to address the symptoms and where someone can get help. The key speaker of the Webinar was Dr. M Tasdik Hasan, a global mental health researcher and Barrister Quazi Maruful Alam, Advocate, Supreme Court of Bangladesh who talked about legal aspects of suicide. Professor Dr. Nawzia Yasmin and Professor Dr. Asif Nazrul also graced the Webinar with their presence.
