Tahira Shamsi Utsa is a Lecturer in the Department of Journalism,Communication and Media Studies at the State University of Bangladesh.She holds a BSS (Hons.) and MSS in Mass Communication and Journalism from Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP). Before joining academia, she worked as a reporter at The Daily Star, one of Bangladesh’s leading English-language newspapers, for two and a half years. Her professional background in journalism brings real-world experience into the classroom, enriching her teaching in media writing, reporting, and digital communication.
